Great update and the skins look cool.

I have a gripe tho. Before the update i managed 64 CP by posting on different sites. Then i click 'share altitude with friends' in game and was pleased to see that i could earn 100 CP by adding the facebook application and a further 50 CP by joining the steam group.

Unfortunately for me Steam only supports Linux or PC, not Apple.

Doubly unfortunately for me i click on the facebook link and nothing happens!!

Literally 1 minute after writing this i went back into altitude to find i had been robbed of 22 CP!! They just disappeared! Why do i bother i mean good thinking about the community helping to spread the word an all but i have put my time into this and feel robbed.

dont worry that seems to be a problem to everyone ...severall people had been "robbed" 22 CP...probably soon will be resolved by lamster or someone

Only users who bought the game through steam can get points from joining the steam community currently.

Hi I'm a normal regular user on altitude. The skins are awesome and I would love to have a couple. I've tried over and over to get the Face Book app for 100 CP. It has not rewarded me he points and I have not gotten many other CP does anybody know what to do?

It takes the facebook app some time to sync with altitude, so try waiting a bit. Let us know if you still don't get the points.

Umm... I don't mean to counter, but I bought mine over PayPal, I joined their Steam group and got 70 points.

Any thoughts...?

Odd? I'm using a Mac yet I got the Steam points. ;)

It's a bit of a work around - See, I bought Parallels a while back. I've had an XP license for years, too.

If you're not in the market for an $80 piece of software ($40 if you dig around ;) - http://www.creationengine.com/html/p.lasso?p=17120 ) you can always use VirtualBox. It's a free bit of virtualization software. And, you can get a 30-day free evaluation / download of Windows XP from Microsoft directly.

If you can't find the XP part, go for Linux. It's free for life, and works well with VirtualBox. http://www.ubuntu.com/

Mac, you didn't actually join the steam group in any way that gives you points. I also bought it through paypal, but play through the steam demo since I like having my games in one place. I could still join the steam group as a demo, but it doesn't give me points, and your membership didn't give you points either.

Further proof: Joining the steam group gives you 50cp, not 70cp. Your numbers wouldn't make sense in this scenario.

There was a bug which could prevent the facebook link from being detected, but it's fixed now: log back into the facebook app and the points should appear in your account within 30 minutes.

We haven't seen any other cases that aren't working right, but we'll be on the lookout for additional issues.

Tip: if you got a youtube/facebook thats popular, just post the url there instead of asking everyone to click it. People are sure to click that link.
