Disable shift from opening chat page 1

I hit shift a LOT by accident when I hit the up button, and it then opens chat and gets me killed. Is there a way to implement a method of disabling this?

Options -> Controls -> Chat Team -> click on "R Shift" -> Press Backspace (the Button over Return [Icon: <-])

Edit:
Or bind it to another button.
My teamchat button is X for example.
