Well,I was wondering.I was playing altitude today and it said i unlocked a new skin (bomber shark). and when i restarted to see if i really had unlocked it,it looked like i had not.So i need to know,when it says u have unlocked a skin,does it mean u have unlocked it to use it,or something else?:confused::confused:

Well once you restart altitude if you bought the skin you should be able to use it. To equip it press e when you are spawning and edit the plane that you bought the skin for. You'll see a new location called skin where you can equip it in there. Hopefully that helps.

I thing what he means is the Popup after a match that you unlocked a new skin.
Also got it sometimes.
But the skins arent unlocked, and i thing they shouldn't be.
So it seems more like a popup bug.

I haven't seen any popup saying you unlocked a new skin. I've seen one saying you should go buy a new skin (like the zebra for bomber) - but never one saying you've unlocked it. Also, the point of it is to try and get people to spread the word to their friends so that we have more people playing / buying this game. :)

well i got 2 saying i unlocked a skin for explodent and bomber. i think we should tell lamster about this. so he can check and change if he has to

Remember before the patch you would get popups saying things like "Get community points!" or "Support Altitude!" or things like that?
These new popups are basically the successors. They don't say "You just unlocked ___ skin!", they say "Unlock ____ skin!". It's an imperative, not a declarative. As in, the game is encouraging you to unlock those skins (by getting community points), not telling you that you unlocked them (because, unfortunately, you didn't).
I would like to have them removed, anyways, just the same as I wanted the previous popups removed. I don't like them. At the very least, lamster might want to think about changing the wording on the popup, since I've seen a number of people express this same confusion.
