Earning skins without spending community points? page 1

I had the Explodet zebra skin awarded to me in a game after killing someone. Is this intended? I thought you had to use community points. I'm thinking it might be a bug since I was awarded it 3 times over the course of a couple of matches, and am also unable to use that skin, I can't equip it on the plane.

The popup doesn't say that you can use it, it's more of a reminder that the skin is there to be bought if you can. Hopefully in the next patch those popups will get reworked to be a bit less confusing or distracting.

Oh, I see. I didn't look at the wording that closely - what does it actually say? They obviously need reworking, my housemate thought the same thing when it happened to him.

Yeah the wording is really bad, it says

"Unlock Loopy Shark"

The next patch should make it much more clear that this is a request for action, not a notification of unlock:

"Earn Community Points"
