One feature which would be VERY much appreciated (and almost certainly enable me to convince several colleagues to buy the game) would be if we were able to create private servers behind a firewall. I'd love to play this game at work with some friends (only during lunch, of course ;)), but as we have no control over the firewall we are unable to forward the ports necessary to create the server. There must be something y'all can to make it possible. Please?

You don't need to foward yout port in order to create a server for a LAN game. Port fowarding is only for servers that you want everybody to see. All you need is an internet connection to log in and run the server_launcher after creating your server using the server_configurator, all of which can be found in your altitude folder.

Oh right, duh. Thanks. That makes sense. But how does another player on the LAN connect to my server then?

There is also a "LAN server" checkbox so it wont show up on the global server list.

Ok, I see that, but I still don't see how to join a LAN server from within the Altitude game, if the LAN server does not show up in the server list.

DOH! Found the answer in another thread. The server SHOULD appear in the server list, but I hadn't realised that the *!")$(" Windows firewall was blocking it. Gahhhhhhh!
