Hi Guys,
I have the following bug on Ubuntu Linux:
Each time I exit the game the screen remains dead and I should kill the process manually to shut it down.
Having a feeling that it is connected some how with another issue I have: sound doesn't work in the game.
Can somebody advice on both issues?
Thanks.

Specifically, I have to kill the Java process to close the window. Sound sometimes starts to work at program open then cuts out.

Altitude requires OpenAL. There are quite a few threads on this topic in our forums.
Either install something like OpenAL soft:
http://kcat.strangesoft.net/openal.html
or try disabling sound (~Altitude/config/options.xml) -> soundEnabled="false"

OpenAL is installed and other games that uses this library has sound enable and work well.
For other games I had to specify some command line arguments to make them work well.
Does Altitude support any command line arguments connected with sound and openAL?

Getting this on my netbook (running eeebuntu 3.0, based on Ubuntu 9.04), but not on my desktop (running Ubuntu 9.04). Exiting the game has been problem-free on the laptop before (between christmas and new year's). Weird.
