DAAAMN. Notice the whole "New [YorK] Jets" thing. Coincidence? Not at all. The Jets will beat the Chargers. I am a huge football fanatic so don't trying saying "Chargers are the best team. I live in San Diego" because I'll shut your ass down uber fast. The Jets WILL win this game and we WILL be playing at home against the Raves. I AM GOING TO THAT GAME. Let me hear your thoughts.

As a resident of Dallas and have been watching the Cowboy's this season being very meh.. I have to agree, as much as I'd like them to win against Farve and the Vikings, I just don't think we can do that. Let alone get to the super bowl..

I'm picking Saints - Vikings and Ravens - Chargers for the two championship games, and here's my reasoning:
New York - San Diego: Jets have the number 1 defense in the NFL, so they should be able to stop the Chargers offense. However, the Chargers also have a high ranked defense, and they have the better offense. In my opinion, both quarterbacks won't have very good games, and it will come down to the running game, which the Chargers, with Tomlinson and Sproles have down to a science. Chargers over Jets
Baltimore - Indianapolis: I didn't see this matchup coming. I think most people were just waiting for another New England/Indianapolis matchup. However, with the performance that the Ravens defense had against New England, I think that Baltimore can beat Indianapolis, who spent their last two games sitting Peyton Manning. Every time they do that, they lose in the playoffs. Baltimore over Indianapolis
Dallas - Minnesota: Dallas is still overrated, imo. I also think that Philadelphia was overrated. Dallas will put up a good fight, but Favre is just too experienced in this kind of game. Minnesota over Dallas
Arizona - New Orleans: This one is the most exciting matchup, imo. Both Drew Brees and Kurt Warner will provide quite a show in this game. I give the game to New Orleans, though. They haven't played well recently, but with a healthy defense, they should be able to get that critical stop that they need to win. New Orleans over Arizona.
Let it also be known that I'm a Chargers fan, so the first game does have a fan's bias towards it, and I've never really liked the Cowboys, so I just want Minnesota to win.

As long as Mark Sanchez throws the ball less than 20 times, New York should be able to win the game. Shonn Green and Thomas Jones should be able to rip up San Diego's defense, which hasn't been that amazing against the run all year. Darell Revis will shut down Vincent Jackson, allowing New York to double up on Antonio Gates and kill San Diego's passing game. Rex Ryan is a defensive guru and should be able to blitz Phillip Rivers to death. If New York can can force San Diego to run, Rivers and company will lose because they've been ranked near the bottom of the league in the run for the entire season. New York wins 20-13, but it's not as close a game as the score might suggest.
Baltimore - Colts:
Obviously the Colts are good, but they have a bad habit of collapsing in the playoffs. It doesn't help team Peyton that Baltimore has a pretty good defense. Baltimore's running game is hot and even though the Colts have been better at stopping the run this year, they are still the Colts. Baltimore should be able to rack up 150+ rushing yards. This game comes down to whether or not the 14-0 Colts show up or the 14-2 Colts show up. If the Ravens ground game can get Baltimore over 28 points, I think they have a good shot at winning. I can't imagine the Colt's first string offense clicking as it did before it got benched. Ravens win 30-24 in a close game.
Arizona - Saints:
This one will come down to which QB throws the most touchdowns, but the one who does will have the better running game. Kurt Warner threw for 5 TDs last week, but the Cardinals running game got 150 yards. The Saints have been shaky on the run lately. The Saints' defense was pretty solid at the beginning of the year, but then was hit with injuries. If the Cardinals just scored 51 points on Green Bay, the leagues 2nd rated defense, who knows what it can do to the Saints. Then again, Arizona's defense did get ripped for 45 points last week, so the Saints' offense would probably be able to keep them in the game. Arizona is too hot and the Saints have lost 3 in a row, I think. Cardinals win 38-28.
