You know how when someone with too many friends tries to add you, it tells you they have too many and they have to remove some people before they can?
Does it tell them, too? Because as far as I'm aware it doesn't, which can be pretty annoying if someone who is adding you remotely and isn't in contact with you doesn't realise their FList is full, and the only way to tell them is to PM them.
If it DOES tell them, ignore this thread!

No, it doesn't tell the player with a full friend list that someone tried unsuccessfully to add them as a friend.
It would be nice if it told you when you had reached your limit (129?), or maybe have a friend count somewhere in-game.

That would be really nice if it did tell you that.
Edit: the friend limit is 129? wooooooooooow, I have 30-something! i guess no one likes me *sniff* :(

129 seems like a lot, but if you are in a clan or lead a clan, you'll most likely add your clan members. Then you might add rival clan members to keep tabs on them. Then, additional players who impress you. And perhaps you're generous and accept friend requests from just about everyone... well, it's easy to reach that number.
I know you were partly kidding, but in-game friending is not just for keeping track of your "friends," but for being able to tell when certain players are on, what servers they are on, and what they are doing (e.g. TBD, BALL, etc.). It can also -- to some extent -- help you when certain players have changed their names, because they still show up in your friend list.

I see your wisdom. Very good point. Didn't think about it that way.

I have like 30-40 people on friends, mostly people from clans i play with. I agree that there should be a message telling you about the other persons list being full.

In my case it isn't trying to add them and needing them to be given a message - its that he tried to add me and didn't know he had too many friends.
Although I agree a notice would be good for both situations!

I have most of the "regulars" on my list. The last 7 slots are going to people who deserve it.

Yep I was told recently that I had too many friendz.
A good fix for this is if friends who haven't logged on in a month are greyed in your friendlist. Then you can choose to remove them (or not).

Or maybe an option to sort your friends list by last login and also show when their last login was when you mouse over their name.
