A Simple Menu Suggestion page 1

This is my first real post outside of the welcoming thread :)
So if I'm just missing something, please tell me politely.

I think there should be an option from the menu that allows you to customize your planes, without having to go into training mode or an online match to do so. This isn't really necessary, but I think it would be a handy addition, even if I could just adjust them in skirmish mode.

If someone has already posted something about this or said they will do this, then sorry for wasting forum space :)

Customize? what do u mean by that? like, paint it?

Sorry if that was confusing.

You know when you start a match, and you select and edit your plane's perks and weapons? I want to be able to access that menu from the main menu.

It doesn't seem like a big deal, but why would you want that? I'm just curious, because you need to pick your plane at the beginning of a game anyways.

He wants to ability to edit the configurations of his planes outside of actually being in a game. So that screen that pops up to select a plane and shows the numbers 1-10, those are the ones that he wants to be able to edit as in select the different perks for each plane. I think it is a valid suggestion.

Yeah, this isn't highly necessary, but it would be nice. Maybe from the hanger deck section?

This idea WOULD fit into the whole concept of a hangar deck, wouldn't it? Especially since that deck is pretty much empty aside from ur states and the non-existant community points store.

I've found myself wanting this too, especially as I am fond of too many ridiculous configs for ten slots to ever be enough. Sometimes changing my custom planes to all reverse-thrust is higher priority to me than picking a server. Hangar deck please!

i also think it would be useful. managing planes during game is ok but it would be better on menu and hangar deck is a great place.

Yeah, I agree. When the last menu patch came out and said "Hanger Deck" I was so excited because I finally thought this would be an option then it wasn't.

I think the hangar deck would be the ideal for this sort of change, so thanks for the suggestion. :) I think it would be best rename the current hangar deck to "stats" or something and add a hangar deck option for the planes.

I think it would be sweet if the hanger deck kept track of your stats with each individual plane makeup (1-10) as well as each overall plane. But yeah, why not add it in? Sounds good to me.

If lam/karl have been reading the suggestions forum as much as it is said they do, then I can't wait for the next patch since these things can't be too hard to turn into reality, right? Any game developers out there, feel free to correct me.

Unfortunately, I'm pretty sure the Devs have a long TODO list and because of this any suggestion you see around now - no matter how great an idea or easy a change it may seem - is unlikely to be in the next patch or even the next few patches.
