As u can understand, flying in a line made by bombs and spam S with lots and lots of bots under you can just make your ratio SO higher.
I wanted game administrators to delete and ban everyone which creates these servers. Today I hit the joinplayer button on my friend list and I was surprised to see that and also veeery sad.
He was not a "noob player". We are talking about V.I.Players, I won't say any names, He knows anyway.
Shame on you!

Other people's ratios in no way effect your game. No one else can see anyone who actually bothers to do this's ratio so if it makes them feel better about themselves why not just live and let live. If they try to take a pic and brag on the forums we are not blind deaf and dumb, bot farmed ratios stick out like a sore thumb.

While I generally agree with Kuja, it is true that atm there are about 20 respected players stupidly bombing bots in there to boost their ratios, which is a bit disappointing. I would love to at least see a patch that does the same thing as the turret-farming correction, so that you can't earn bgillions of experience or boost your ratio too much by simply farming bots.

I played on a bot pit server today. I won't lie: it was fun. For 30 seconds I mindlessly dropped bombs on the people below before that got boring.

Then I decided to change teams and try and fly my way up through the storm of bombs. Its provided me with 15 minutes of fun trying to avoid the bombs and trying to coordinate people with shields so we could get to the top. Now THAT was fun.

I'm a ratio whore. Last match I went 5 - 42. I'm sorry.

Wow, I was actually not doing badly that match. A 1:1 ratio on that map doing what I do is something to brag about for me :)

I mean this is a very serious problem and we should put on our serious hats.

I think that gettin in botpit sometimes and pick an image of who plays that **** should be scaring enough to don't let good players join it.
So I'll do it, and then I'll post it on the forum, as DeathRod did.
I hope also other guys will do it and that the patch is coming soon.

That was hilarious and most likely I was dropping my ratio because i was trying to fly up through the bombs. Like banana.

Yah I played this for like 15 minutes today before I fell asleep from boredom.. I'd be very surprised if this doesn't die soon. That said **** ratios lol, it's just pure entertainment when you see people like deathrod post a 40k-10k ratio on biplane.

Guys the problem is not if it is funny or if it isn't, the problem is that IT'S NOT FAIR for people which make their ratio day by day!
I'm not happy! All my labors are going to be ****ed up!
I want my bomber ratio valuable as it is!

ratios don't mean ****, afaik you have around 2.5 bomber ratio, eso has 1.5 or 1.6, waiting to hear the results.

Seriously, who the heck cares about ratios? Ratios in this game have always been more of a demonstration of how well you play pubs than how skilled you actually are at the game. If you want to demonstrate your skill, play in some leagues and do well. Everyone that ratio whores is just wasting their time if they're doing it to demonstrate "skill".

People who care about ratios are noobs by definition. I have over thirty thousand loopy kills and deaths. To improve my ratio by 0.01 I'd need to get 300 more kills than deaths tomorrow (e.g. 400 kills 100 deaths). It would take me a very, very long time to cheat my way to a better ratio using this method.

Over all the thing people should be worried about instead of Ratios is there technique and tricks on there best plane and be amicable to all players. They should just face the fact that no clan will care about ratios or exp (usually) just the way u play and the tricks you can do with your planes. Im not exactly sure who even came up with that bot farming idea?

THAT'S A CRAZY BIPLANE RATIO!!!!!!!!!!!
Ratios dont really make you good or bad. ex. You could be a shield man for a bomber and get many more deaths than kills for the benefit of your team. I know that it is much easier to bomb with a shield-man than without.

Well your right I think he's going to beat me too but btw I played to get my ratio, so why should'n tI care about it?

And that bot pit thing is stupid anyway. :-)

Still I'm not even sure the last time I checked my ratio. It doesn't mean anything, all the good bomb runners don't necessarily have the best ratios *cough* Mikey *cough*
