The new lay-out looks nice. In menu that is.
But in-game players want to see where they are flying, and a big box with notifications on the bottom of your screen blocks you from seeing where you are going.
That's why I use "/capturemode 3" in games so my view doesn't get obstructed by any notifications or chats. But with the new lay-out even "/capturemode 3" isn't clean anymore.... this makes me want to stop playing.

/capturemode 3 has never blocked all in-game UI, for that you want /capturemode 1. If you really want things to look exactly like the old captureMode 3, you can always revert the kill notification behavior:
Open ~Altitude/config/options.xml in a text editor
Change:
showKillPopups="true" showExpLog="false"
to
showKillPopups="false" showExpLog="true"
And then run in captureMode 3 as before.

nvm I already discoverd the XML file and put all notifications as FALSE.
The only thing I want so see is the Speed, Health, Power bars on top of the plane.
/capturemode 1 doesn't show those.
