Huh? Sounds like he is talking about Ancient Britian, Which conisted of Soldiers (the best of their time) that fought in flat spaces, as the indians and French fought werever, behind trees, rocks, etc. Britian had a way of fighting that no other could duplicate, but it costed them a few battles. That is what I got out of that wisdom. And as General Sherman Said "War is not fair..." and another General went on to say "War is hell..."

Well I respect the British for that. As that saying went "The sun never sets on British Soil."

They wouldv'e been ruling the World right now if it wasn't for the United States.

The British Empire was biggest Empire EVER, not one Empire came close to it. They dominated and dominated and dominated till they ruled!

Did you know the middle finger insult came from way back when they had longbows? When one side surrendered they often would cut off their middle fingers so they could no longer use a bow. People would stick up their middle finger to show they haven't had it cut off and could still fight as a taunt to those that didn't have one.
