Challenges page 1

Sorry if this is old or stupid, but I'm brand new to the game. Every other level I see "New Challenge Available!" and have no clue as to what that means. Nowhere in game have I found a list of challenges or a menu to complete challenges. When I do google searches I get nothing. The only mention of them in the Altitude Wiki is this: Leveling up plays as important role in the game of Altitude as each level unlocks a new perk available for you to use or a challenge for you to complete.

So, after exhausting my other avenues of approach, I'm finally breaking down and coming to the forums. What the hell are challenges? Where can I find a list (both of uncompleted and completed)? And shouldn't this info be easier to find?

Main menu -> stats -> click each plane to see their specific challenges.

Huh. Those are the challenges? Weird. The names are totally different than the things that pop up on my screen. Ah well. Thanks for the help, Eth. I've been tooling around the guides section, while waiting for a reply and your Loopy guide is really solid, so double thanks.

On the topic of challenges, we should have some harder ones. Like 25 kills in a row, or a game played from the beginning with no deaths and at least 15 kills. Just some ideas.

I know you guys are going to get tired of me, but how about some BALL-related challenges?

For example:
Three goals in a row
Four goals in one game
Three assists in one game (you'd have to keep track of assists)

I still have yet to finish them.

I need to finish the whale and miranda challenges.

I didn't finish the miranda challenges for half a year. (granted I am a loopy main, but still!)

yeah they should really rename it. Challenges=Achievments.

I got all of the miranda challenges after the first day I unlocked the plane.

However, I think Miranda is the only plane that I've finished all the challenges for.
