Make it so you can chat to multiple people, at a time. i.e. pick who you want to talk to and start typing.
This would be really useful to clans (leaders)

Yes but you can whisper to multiple people at a time. Make a sentence and copy/paste it altough vent or skype is the best option.

This is a feature that is present in Battle.net (blizzard games). You type /f m and then the message and then that message gets sent to all your friends.

Times when this would help: Let's say you want to gather people together for a captain's game. It would be a pain to click on everybody's name and message them, and you aren't necessarily already in a chat room with them. Type /f m once and it goes to everybody. Easy.

Times when this would be annoying: In blizzard games, some people have the tendency to whisper to others by using /f m, since it's much easier to type than say, /w [||]matattack. This gets annoying because one of your friends could be whispering messages to you aren't really meant for you at all.
