I think there should be an option to change all the colors of the plane to
Blue for your team, Red for the other team.
This change would only affect you.
In FFA, everyone would be red except you.
You can decide which color is 'friendly' and which is 'foe'.
You could say that I'm a r-tard, but I actually can get confused of which team/plane i'm flying in the heat of the moment.

go to options and then check colorblind mode. it does exactly what you are requesting.
