10v10 ball is getting a bit ridiculous. The football map can handle 20 players and is just as much fun (which is not much) with 10 or 20 planes. Other maps like snow and mayhem that are great maps also get completely bogged down with that many players.
I would love to see the ball servers switch to a max of 12 players (or 10 if they can't do 12 for some reason). It would make the game better and would allow more servers to be in rotation.

I think this has been brought up before but was kept in because noobs enjoy it.

agree completely tgleaf. And thanks for correctly stating that the football map is not much fun. There's nothing in it. Yawn.
But yes 10v10 in ball is not comfortable. I think 6v6 is just about perfect, though 7v7 isn't bad either if we're looking at a compromise here.
