You can host it on the altitude wiki or on common file sharing sites like mediafire. If you want you can email it to me at nesnl23@yahoo.com and I can upload it somewhere and put a link in here.

That's a miranda map if I've ever seen one.
Anyway, I look forward to testing.

I dont know if this is a miranda map!?! I really thought about it, and went for an "all planes map!"
Of course im no "good player", so some knowledge limitations here! My opinion is there is room for spammers, snipers, and runners.
I know from my testing, that the base is easy to reach from below! Maybe i should put more Torrets on it (at the back of the base)! I tried to create a map in wich a team could/should use all planes... Tight corridors and turns make a plane stick to its zone! Cant imagine what will come up but look forward to ear from "good players"!

Okay, first thing I notice is that there is only one spawn point. Ideally you want to put 5-10 spawn spots so that planes don't spawn on top of each other. Also, the spawn is like right on top of the base. I suggest moving it up and out of the way. Also, the turrets are placed pretty far back into the objects. I suggest moving them out onto the objects so they can both shoot effectively and also so that they can be destroyed. Also, below the base the collision area doesn't really match the objects (where the stone is). You might want to adjust that so people don't get confused. however, this is all something I can do on my end. So if you want me to do it, I can change those things really quick and then re-upload the map.
Let me know.
EDIT: Noticed two more things. First, the name color is still set to black. With such a dark background you probably want to change the name color to white (can be done in the map drop down menu). Also, consider changing the plane smoke color to grey as it is set to black right now and you will have the same problem on the dark background. (Also done in the Map drop down menu)

Nice map! It plays well, at least against bots (lol). I would probably take out the tunnel, as I don't think the map needs it, and I can see people spamming the team bomb spawn spots.

I agree about the bottom tunnel. I think it comes too easy to bomb from going underneath. I think maybe just get rid of the tunnel and make it a constant curve along that way?
btw, I put the map up on Non-Official #1 as well as Captains Games.

I dont know if this is a miranda map!?!
That's what I thought when I looked at it.
If nothing else, the powerup at the very top-middle of the map looks like it's best accessible to mirandas [EDIT: or any plane sporting reverse thrust, of course]. Looks like most other planes would need to intentionally stall just to get in and out.
That's just what it looks like, though ... haven't played it. Anyway, expanding that area into a wider semicircle would help.

Here´s the 2nd version of my map.
http://www.mediafire.com/file/2zmzzgmdiid/tbd_planeparkv2.altx
I didnt have much feedback from the first, but changes ocurred.
I made the map smaller in lenght, and action did improved!
Maimer will soon put it on his servers so that u can test it online!
Please do test it... looks (plays) nice to me! I will announce here when he does!
Theres a bug!!! Bots dont go to the top vertical "corridor" to get powerups!!!
Excuse my eng!!!
Tx to those who help!

I love the look of this map. Since I haven't played it, I don't have anything to add. Once I get to try it, I'll post my feedback, though.

Where are the spawn points? Could you place the powerups on the left and right a bit higher? Just first impression... Never edited a map myself.

Planepark can now by played at Non-Official #1 and Captains Games.
Tx for Maimer´s big support and retouches giving this the chance to become a good map.
All feedback will be taken in consideration and very much apretiated.

Just want to say that this is a good map that was well thought out and had a lot of time put into both the art assets as well as the design. It should work on both low graphics and with parallax off and in my opinion it plays really well. I suggest giving it a shot and consider uploading it to your server if you run one.
Again, great job here from Mandrad. I look forward to more maps if he chooses to make any more.

Hey Mandrad,
Big fan of your work. ball_planepark and ball_funnelpark rate as #3 and #7 in my list of favorite ball maps of all time, and i feel they are great additions to the ladder rotation and make for fun compelling matches. However I have noticed that on a few recent play-throughs of tbd_planepark, this map doesn't seem to have the great layout of your previous work, and the games tend to be quite long and unappealing on this map. Not sure if other people feel the same way, but me and a majority of people on the server felt that this map wasn't that fun when we played it.
In order to find the root of the problem, I took the liberty to pinpoint some of the areas i feel need fixing and highlighted them in red. The areas circled in blue are parts of the map i feel are good as is.
http://i53.tinypic.com/2pop99v.png
I thought i would point this out because the artwork and everything of this map is great, and I believe ball_planepark is highly regarded as one of the best ball maps in all of Altitude, and i would like to see tbd_planepark achieve some of that success as well if possible.

Hello, tx for the compliments
I realy dont know why this never got any sucess. I wish i could have ever saw a good 5 vs 5 so that i could get into any conclusions!
I believe you can be right although im not sure what you envisioned - I pointed transformations in my sketch according to how ive interpretated ur conclusions.
I have removed 1 object; have lowered 1 obj, moved to the center 1 obj, and added a turret.
What do you guys think of it? This way would be more open, so faster games for sure.
Ty for comenting

As the thread title says, this was my 1st map.
I also have to stress, that ball_planepark isnt my map. Although graphic work is mine, the reason of its success is Maimer's layout.

Removing that bottom piece is a good idea, because the main problem with that area of the map is that you have limited room to fly and maneuver, and it is very easy to defend. Even if the opposing teams' push manages to survive through the tunnels, they still have a ways to climb up to the base for a bomb hit, and this path just doesn't seem viable at all. This was my biggest complaint with the map.
The stuff i highlighted in red on the top middle part of the map was because i felt it was almost the exact same top middle section of tbd_underpark. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, but i felt that maybe you could just rework it a bit so it is more unique.
The middle and bottom middle pieces i circled in red because i think this area could maybe be simplified a bit more to improve it. The oval part is quite big and doesn't allow for that much open space for dogfighting.
