Server Filter doesn^t seem to be filtering anything? page 1

Hey folks,

Am I the only one noticing that the server filter isn't working as expected? Or rather, it isn't working at all? I can put in any set of parameters, I see it building the parameter list, and it still just shows me everything.

E.g., I select a server with <=10 players, I still see all the servers with 20, 14, etc.

Or I select to see only bouncy, and I still see all wall types.

Or I put in a text string to the map field, and I still see all maps.

...

Been lurking on the forum for a while. I'm usually "Golden Monkey" in game, though I started off and may switch back to Used Manatee.

The filter indeed always shows you everything, but it distinguishes 2 categories.

First there come the servers passing the filter titled by "Servers".

Second there come the servers not passing the filter titled by "Filtered servers".

At the first time I used a very strong setting that filtered everything (mainly due to the "high pings" issue (http://altitudegame.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2053)) and there was no category "Servers" above "Filtered servers", so I assumed - like you - the filter isnt working at all. Maybe you've just ran into the same situation.

bmaker, thank you that was exactly what was going on. I had only two parts: 1) favorites and 2) filtered servers. Once I pulled off all the parameters I was able to start with a Servers section and work from there.
