I look forward to being able to finally say "twenty ten" instead of "two thousand and nine" I liked the previous millennium for this same reason. You could just say "nineteen XXX" instead of "one thousand XXX." For some reason the aughts don't flow very well. Who wants to say "twenty aught nine" anyway. And people would probably just look at you funny.
