I've tried uploading an image file as an attachment to these forums, but I keep getting the message "filename.jpg: This is not a valid image file." I've tried with .png, .jpg, .jpeg, .gif, as small as 50x30 and less than 4K in size. Is this just me? I've tried both Chrome and Firefox, on a Windows machine.

Ummm, Imageshack is your friend here... You have to provide a link to the picture, you cant just use one off your desktop...

Both are supposed to be possible. For example, http://altitudegame.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=255&d=1255048993 is an image attached directly to a forum post (http://altitudegame.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=255&d=1255048993).

this is a known issue, we moved the forums to a new server and didn't add the necessary stuff for image uploading.
