Altitude.. gravball.. ^high pingers^ stand a chance? page 1

Greetings everyone! Just got to know about the game these days through neogaf. I used to play subspace and infantry/gravball back in 98-00 (not sure, somewhere around that time heheh) and used to love it.

Downloaded the demo, the style´s pretty much alike, which is a great thing! So it´s an almost certain purchase except for one thing:

How is the tolerance to high ping bastards during ball games on teamplay-based servers (not ffa or anything) ?
The thing is im from .BR and usually cant get bellow 160-200ms. Back then, there was a bit of complaint, but it was "passable".
Will i be able to play without general bitching or its a no-go ?

Generally everything under 200 is passable it's noticeable, but passable, most europeans have 150ish ping

well.. the most i can have is 230 in APL servers...
[im in middle east]

is that enough to have every1 saying im lagging?

If you pass whatever the server has "latency kick" value set to should be passable. Thats just my opinion tho.
(3-400 default value?)

Thats good to hear! hopping for a lot of euro players to appear then. heheh.
