I looked but couldn't find another post on this subject.
Surely fixing the bugs on ball has to be in the next patch? I mean some of them i.e ball shooting through the goal and getting 6 goals for the price of 1 are funny but annoying all the same.

There's plenty of threads out there, but I agree - that for making the game that little more stable this is probably in the higher priority over aesthetics.
Just a structural touchup - however it could entail a lot more than I believe it does....

Though it is pretty fun to score from behind the goal.
