New Friends does the friend stay if they change names page 1

Hi

If I get a friend request from a new player (i.e a guest id) does that then convert to his game tag when he changes it?

Yes -- friend requests are per-account, and guest accounts are typically upgraded into full accounts to preserve XP/progress, friends, etc -- the account ID never changes.
