Hi
I'm a new player and loving the loopy and I get a little that emp stuns the opposing plane but what does it actually do in terms of affecting their play?
i.e can they still use weapons
manoevre
anything else?

Takes some of their energy, makes energy regen slower, denies afterburner usage and the plane is more difficult to control

and by difficult to control he means that their turning speed is reduced. It is good so that planes can't turn around and fire on you as easily.

EMP is so powerful, even a little overpowered.
More people should learn how to use it well. Don't mean to sound cocky, but I see very few loopies using the EMP like I do.

Well few people have 1,745.8 hours logged on a demo loopy... just saying.

It freezes, makes enemy plane vulnarable, slows down enemy planes. Also it takes up more energy than the default rocket. :)

Yeah but with a chunk of your energy gone, no boost, and turning difficulty, you're as good as dead.

It helps you in duels, scrims, in everything EMP helps :)
You can stop other planes temporarily, etc etc
