If I go to buy the activation code from PayPal, should I put in quantity 2, and will that give me two separate activation codes?

I'm asking because I'm also buying an activation code from my friend, but I don't want to be glitched out of my money.

And I'm not sure if I should buy separate because I know that PayPal has some weird fees going on, and I don't want to be SOL (I have exactly 20 bucks to buy 2 codes, and I don't want to have to pay 11 bucks for 1 code and then not have enough for a second).

Yes, quantity 2 will work fine: you will receive 2 full version keys in the purchase confirmation email.
