spectator mode for auto-join page 1

how about spectator slots for auto-joins? So as you wait to join a game, you can watch it.

I like this idea. I also recommend that "spectators" don't take up a slot for a game. So their can be un-limited if you will, spectators. Without having them take up a game.

yeah, its annoying when you have two people go to a duel server so they dont get interupted, but its annoying that you cant watch

As I've said before in a thread, there should be peoplep playing, and then 2 different spectator modes. One is benchwarmers, where people on the competing teams can spectate and teamchat with their teams and sub in if needed (even with the tourney on). The other spectate mode is the current spectator mode, except people in this mode don't take up a player space/slot on servers.

but thats like trying to ask somebody to come with you in a car but not take up a seat

it just doesnt work
and someones gonna say "well they can sit on a lap or double buckle or go in the trunk" etc etc- not the point

but

id think itd be really cool, and i totally support it. just skeptical on the "is-it-possible" factor

yea my one concern is that it would lag up the servers so maybe there would have to be a limited number of spectator slots. Or if there's a way to have spectator slots without pinging everyone else, that'd be cool.

Spectator slots were brought up long long ago. I think it should be developments primary focus along with a guild/clan/squad system, but they are both very large tasks. On the other hand, I'm sure those 2 features alone would please just about everyone and be huge additions to the game.
