Suggestions for the developers page 1

Hello Altitude devs,

First off, thank you for making this brilliant game, I have had alot of fun playing so far and it has been worth the money for sure. Two thumbs up for the devs that have been working on this fine piece of entertainment.

Now I do have a few questions / suggestions in regards to the future of this game.

1/ Will there, at any time, be new planes / perks added? The current planes ofcourse are alot of fun, but as I've played alot of these type of games before (gunbound etc) I'm wondering if new additions are in the making. It would ofcourse be that much more fun to be able to have a larger series of combinations to chose from. Be it, them being addes in between current plane levels or for example after you reach high levels ( 40 + ). I think this will improve the lifetime of the game as with more variation comes longer interest to keep playing. Also having your own "more unique" setup will make the game look alot "bigger" in terms of different looks and styles.

2/ Currently you get two slots per plane, one at "low" and one at "high" level. However there seem to be no changes to the "high" level version what so ever, besides the obvious unlock for the first higher level weapon perk. Perhaps it would be fun the give the higher level versions something extra, like for example:

- slight increase in basic stats (health / speed / agility)
- an extra perk type slot for a new type of "minor perks" to give it like a third attack or temporary (1 or 2 sec) "damage shielding" option.
- or simply a slighty updated skin with some extra graphics / visual attachments to further improve "the bling factor".

3/ Some current planes like the Explodet and the Miranda seem rather "AI/Bot" oriented, as it becomes very tricky for a human player to control these well. Will they ever be changed so it becomes "easier" to use?

4/ Perhaps it would be fun to add titles awards to a combination of unlocked challenges, which players could select to show in front of their nickname. Just to add some more variation again.

5/ Will there be extra gamemodes in the future? Like for instance, capture the flag, point control (domination), hardcore (one shot / one kill) etc?

I'd love to know.

Here are my thoughts on potential answers. I am not a developer, but I have been around a pretty long time.

1. Don't fore see any new planes in the near future. We can all keep our fingers crossed, but that is a big undertaking of both coding as well as graphical assets. In all honesty there are many more things that could make this game more fun than all the time needed for just one additional plane. As for new perks, this is probably more likely. They are easier to implement and provide variation. I hope we see at least 1 new green/blue perk and maybe a whole new category.

2. The game is designed around all planes / perks being equal on some level. I don't think there will ever be a point where having a certain level will give you a better plane (at least stat wise). As for custom skins/emblems, these are planned as far as I know.

3. The Explodet is definitely hard to get used to and the Miranda is a plane I crashed into many walls when I first learned how to play it. I think that's what makes them fun. So instead of wishing they were easier, maybe take some enjoyment in trying to figure out how to play them optimally!

4. I think titles/emblems/badges will be available as part of the prestige system that is supposed to be implemented at some point.

5. Game modes are always being pitched, including the ones you mentioned, and the developers definitely listen. When I first started playing there were two game modes: FFA and TBD. Since then they have implemented Ball, TDM, and all the 1-Life Game modes (1DM, 1DE, and 1BD). I am hoping the next game mode they make is a variation of Freeze Tag. But to answer your question, I would definitely count on new game modes.

Hi Maimer,

I appriciate you taking the time to give me a better perspective on changes made since the game launched. I haven't been around long enough to see what they did and didn't change yet.

It is very good to know that there are changes planned and perhaps extra perks are being added... I mean new planes or new perks pretty much come down to the same thing. Which is the ever important "variation of a game".

To be honest, my point regarding changes to miranda and explodet were a bit hastefull, I played miranda yesterday after I watched some other people play... and picked up the general strategy, I actually made some kills afterwards so like you said, I'll have to spend some time getting used to these.

However I would like to have some light shed on the subjects by a dev if at all possible, just to have an official statement. No offence to you ofcourse Maimer. But they may be able to provide a clear overview on what they are planning to work on.
