Some ISPs engage in "traffic shaping" whereby all UDP packets are blocked during certain hours. You may want to try any other available internet connections (neighbors' wireless, etc).

Im having the exact same issue in my time zone (+2gmt), and my question is there anything i can do inorder to fix it besides changing my net supplier?
I want to purchase the game though having this issue is a real turn off ;)

You know, this is odd, because I don't have problems with other games that use UDP packets. In case it's related to certain UDP ports, maybe it's because Altitude servers use non-standard port numbers? Is it possible to have Altitude servers working in other, more common port numbers?

Yes it is - you can select the port by going "Options --> Gameplay" on the left toolbar in-game.
Don't forget to forward these through your router though

I don't use a router though ive allowed the ports on my firewall exceptions(aslo tried different ports) and also tried to disable my firewall and i still got stuck on the sending credintials
What else can i do?:(

The port numbers used for our master servers are unlikely to make a difference. If other UDP games are working it's probably a regional routing issue -- there may be a broken link somewhere between your ISP and our master servers.

To diagnose this possibility, please try this:

Start -> Run -> cmd

tracert 75.102.27.114

Wait for the trace route to finish.

Using your mouse, left click and drag to select the results.
Right click to copy the selected results to the clip board.
Email the results to support@nimblygames.com
